Plowshares Media is a different kind of production company. We work exclusively with non profits and progressive organizations to create comprehensive Media solutions that raise awareness, fundraise and train.

There are over 1 million non-profits registered with the IRS in the United States. With so many organizations vying for less and less funding in a difficult economy, you need ways to reduce overhead, increase reliability and raise more funds. To help organizations to accomplish these goals our team creates cost-effective, multi-purpose video and training solutions.

What sets us apart from the competition is our team and the history of our company. Plowshares has the nimbleness and low overhead of a startup but the history behind it of The Independent Production Fund, the 20 year old, Emmy award winning documentary production company where it was incubated.

Our team brings a unique blend of personal experiences with backgrounds in community and labor organizing, developing educational and community engagement campaigns, experience and residences abroad, marketing and entrepreneurial backgrounds, we speak multiple languages and all currently volunteer.
